Children's Church
During both the early and late services, Ms. Kelly Thompson and her team lead our children in disciple-making Bible lessons and activities. Although parents are welcome to keep their children in the sanctuary during services, Children's Church is a fun and educational alternative for children 4 years old to 3rd grade. Children start with their parents in the service, and when announced by the worship leader, leave the service for Children's Church, which is held in the youth room on the top floor of the Christian Education Building.
Kelly Thompson
I have lived in Churchville my entire life. I graduated from Buffalo Gap High School in 1996 and from Bridgewater College in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. I have been teaching Family and Consumer Sciences since 2000 and advise our student chapter of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. I love teaching as it is my passion!
I love spending time with my nieces and traveling as much as possible. My favorite place to visit is Pigeon Forge, Tennessee! I am an avid sports fan and love going to and watching games. (I actually coach middle school volleyball).
