What is the Cornerstone for Christ Community Center?
We are planning to construct a community center building to be used for various ministry and community events. The facility will be complete with a half gymnasium and basketball court, commercial-grade kitchen, large classroom, and shower and bathroom facilities. We are excited to make this building available to the greater Churchville community as a place to host special celebrations, sporting competitions, meetings, and other community events.
The community center will be located on our church property at 935 Jerusalem Chapel Road in Churchville, Virginia. Groundbreaking is slated for Fall 2022, with construction commencing Spring 2023. We plan to have the building completed and ready for the community use by the end of 2023.
As with any building project, there are tremendous costs associated with Cornerstone for Christ. Consequently, we are campaigning to raise the monies necessary to construct this community center.
